The Burgess Hill Constitutional Club raised over £5,500 for Stand Up to Cancer charity by hosting the first ‘Cancer Aid’ music event on Saturday 12 July on land next to the club.

Local bands and soloists performed throughout the afternoon and Burgess Hill Bonfire Society hosted the BBQ. A ‘Barrow of Booze’ was up for grabs in the charity raffle with more prizes being won on the tombola.

A big thank you to Burgess Hill Town Council and all those that supported on the day with staging, sound, fencing, first aid, tombola, raffle and extra hands where needed.
