This year, the club is supporting three Charities and Good Causes

Our primary fundraising will be towards the Burgess Hill Pantry. Burgess Hill Bonfire Society and Ronald McDonald House will also be supported.

Burgess Hill Pantry was set up as part of the Town Council’s ‘No Cupboard Empty’ project, to help residents struggling on low incomes stretch their household budgets a little further. The pantry is a community group, run by volunteers to help people living in Mid Sussex.

For a weekly membership of £5, residents can choose a selection of food to the value of around £20, helping budgets stretch further. There’s a variety of food available including fresh fruit and veg, store cupboard favourites, bread and dairy products.

You can find more details and sign up on the Burgess Hill Pantry webpage or the Burgess Hill Pantry Facebook page.

Burgess Hill Bonfire Society is a non-profit making organisation who’s aim is to put on an amazing torchlit community night with a Procession, Bonfire & Fireworks always on the Last Saturday in September

Ronald McDonald House Brighton sits opposite the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in the centre of the city. This eight-bedroom House provides free, comfortable accommodation to families with children and premature babies being treated at the hospital. They also run a further 10 bedrooms on the top floor of the children’s hospital – meaning they can offer 18 ensuite rooms to families with seriously ill children.

A Burgess Hill Resident who recommended the charity says:

Ronald McDonald House helped my husband and I during the 112 days we stayed in NICU waiting for our miracle boy to be strong enough to come home plus more stays due to sickness and surgery since.
